  • February 15, 2020, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - SPECIAL EVENT - AT BOWMAN LIBRARY, 871 Tasker Rd, Stephens City, VA 22655: "How to Set Up and Use Your New Telescope." Bring your telescope or learn from ours.

  • March 9, 2020 - "A Behind-the-Scenes Look at one of America's Most Famous Observatories, Palomar Observatory"

  • April 13, 2020 - "Astrophotography" - What it is and how it's done. Presentation by one of Shenandoah Astronomical Society's astrophotographers with input via Skype by one of the nation's most renowned astrophotographers.

  • May 11, 2020 - A demonstration of the new NASA Night Sky Network toolkit: Glass and Mirrors. This toolkit provides the presenter with presentation guides, tools, and handouts to help enable you to answer questions that the public may have about how telescopes work. Show how both a reflector and a refractor work.
